Rob Faesen (Tilburg, 1958) is Emeritus Professor with formal duties at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, KU Leuven, holder of the Jesuitica Chair, and member of the Ruusbroec Society at the University of Antwerp. Leerstoel en lid van het Ruusbroecgenootschap aan de Universiteit  Antwerpen. Zijn onderzoek richt zich voornamelijk op de geschiedenis van de Middelnederlandse mystieke literatuur.
